Wshngtn's Wonderful WIP
« on: June 24, 2011, 06:16:03 PM »
I have decided to get back into designing figures in normal scale, and henceforth, all WIPs of mine shall reside here.

To start it off, some WW1 US "Doughboys" in the Ben Harvey dynamic style.

Me Like...

There aren't that many newer US WWI infantry, so these will be a nice add on!
It's pronounced Awe-krin.

Thanks guys, here's a few more Doughboys.

Also, came across this set of Late Cold War Canadians that I made for MLW awhile back.

As a side project I started a series called "Micros with Muskets" which is pretty much what it sounds like.  Micro-scale soldiers for the era of muskets.

I started off (not surprisingly) with 7YW Prussians, will soon follow up with other powers of the 7YW, and after that move on to the AWI & Napoleonic wars. Hope ya like em.

P.S. The figures were designed with these rules in mind, which, although intended for Napoleonics, should work fine for other conflicts of the period. http://www.rodvik.com/~rodvik/2by2/2by2%20Napoleonics%202J.htm

EDIT: For some reason I included an oversized template of the infantry...  :P

Thanks swede.  :)

Shortly after I posted the Prussians, Tau showed me a glue free method for basing these, and I became quite a fan of it. So here are Prussians and Austrians with this new basing method.

ok, I've got a couple of things to post this time,

First off, I got Russians to finish off the seven years war (for now anyway, may come back and add some of the minor powers...)

Second, what I completed so far with the AWI micros, and

Last but not least, the pose that I've been using a lot of my newer sets, Swede had asked for it, and I figured I should post it here for anyone who wants it

EDIT: I still working on the last sheet, if there is anything specific your looking for just ask, and I'll see if I can find it

Sorry for not posting for awhile, I'm moving right now.  Still working on the Micros with Muskets series, but in the mean time here's a peak at one of my WIPs.
