Greetings,

I'm not sure if this is the correct location to ask, but....

I have enjoyed the wonderful French troops that Montjoie Saint Denis created for the Franco Prussian War period.  They are quite accurate and well organized.  A lot of research went into them.

My question is: Will he or someone else be creating a similar complete line of Prussian (German States) troops?

Welcome to the forum!

Unfortunately, I don't think Montjoie Saint Denis is on the forum, but he might still make the troops and there are lots of guys here I think would make them for you if you like  Smiley

Hey, I appreciate the replies, guys.

My apologies for not introducing myself...kind of rude. Embarrassed

I found this site, Junior General, while I was over in Iraq.  These game pieces are amazing.  I enjoy gaming in miniature...15mm till now.

The reason I asked about the Prussian pieces is that war, for some reason, has interested me and the range of French troops produced by Montjoie Saint Denis is very good.  The others, already posted are pretty impressive, too.

My interest is mainly for the "Transition" Period....1880 - 1920.  From Blackpowder cartridge, single shots to true modern firearms and machine guns.  From direct fire field pieces to indirect fire, long range artillery.  From a spotting balloon to all metal aircraft capable hitting the enemy troops or cities.  From pre-dreadnoughts to dreadnoughts and the extensive use of submarines.  From horse drawn to truck and track drawn and the emergence of the Tank.  Yep, those 40 years saw quite a change.

Anyway...enough rambling.  Thank you for the help!!

Oh, one last thing...  any good game systems for the Franco-Prussian War?
