Was Vietnam before your time? Were you mostly NATO stuff in Europe?
The Gulf war American camo bush hat is nice. I got one back home in storage. Used to wear in japan, but too many of my coworkers thought I was a little too pro military, so I`ve switched to baseball caps. i got one of my favorite beer, one with a cannon on the front.

Without a dout, the CG634. Better ballistic protection than the Fritz helmet, and it looks really cool. (also, it's canadian!)

I have to say I have no one favorite. I like quite a few.
The good old boonie hat is a favorite as well as the campaign hat warn by USMC drill instructors. I also like the Brodie helmet and the Greek Corinthian helmet are also nice.
